The HDK Degree Exhibition is on display between May 25 and June 2 in Frihamnen in Gothenburg. In three short years, Stockholm Craft Week has established itself as the most important event for arts and crafts in Stockholm. For one week in autumn, galleries, institutions, groups and sole practitioners all get together to show and praise the world of creative crafts.

The only participating Swedish company at the fair grounds is Blå Station. In a conversation in the latest issue of Form magazine, design director Johan Lindau explains: “We’ve decided to go because we want to show our belief in the future. Those who aren’t going are cowards! Even if only a single visitor shows up, we can still say that we’ve been at Supersalone. It would be embarrassing if not a single Swedish company took part, we want to show solidarity with both the industry as a whole and with Milan and Italy. It’s a must.”
