From 17 July 2019 the blockbuster exhibition Robots from the Science Museum in London , makes its first international stop at Tekniska museet in Stockholm. Human-like machines – both fascinating and frightening at the same time. Why do we create machines that resemble us humans?
This intriguing exhibition features a unique collection of over 100 robots, from the earliest automatons to robots from science fiction and modern-day research labs.

Few contemporary fashion garments have attracted as much attention as the four evening gowns designed by Pär Engsheden and worn by Sara Danius, then permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy, at the Nobel banquets in 2015-2018. The exhibition presents the creative process, the sources of inspiration and Engsheden’s close collaboration with Danius as these iconic gowns were created.
