Fordypningsrommet in Lofoten

A fabulous retreat hotel has opened in the Norwegian wilderness, for those who want to get away from everything. Fordypningsrommet is located on a small island without shops and cars, in northern Norway, Lofoten. Design by Tyin Tegnestue and Rintala Eggertsson.

Wilhelm Kåge at Gustavsbergs porslinsmuseum

In 1917 the Gustavsberg porcelain works hired Wilhelm Kåge, a commercial artist. That same year the manufacturer introduced a “dinner service for the working class”. Nationalmuseum is marking the centenary by presenting a selection of Kåge’s diverse art.
